Aircraft Hangar at a Sports Airfield

In 2018, Angar.md completed the construction of a sports airfield aircraft hangar for VITRA SRL in Văduleni village, Căușeni District. The facility was designed with dimensions of 20 m x 60 m, providing a total area of 1,200 m² and offering ample space for aircraft storage, maintenance, and operational activities.

Our team of architects and engineers developed a customized project tailored to the client’s requirements. Under the close supervision of our technical director and construction engineers, the building was completed according to the approved design documentation and within the established schedule.

The construction process included the following stages:

• Earthworks and excavation for foundation preparation
• Reinforced concrete foundation construction
• Construction of monolithic reinforced concrete walls
• Manufacturing of cold-formed galvanized steel arches
• Installation of the semi-round roof structure on the concrete walls
• Installation of front access doors and ventilation grilles
• Construction of a power-troweled concrete floor

The completed hangar provides a durable and efficient solution for aircraft storage and aviation operations. Its spacious interior, unobstructed layout, and robust construction make it ideal for protecting aircraft and aviation equipment from environmental conditions while ensuring convenient access and operational flexibility.
