The self-supporting semi-round steel hangar built for POINT SQUARE SRL was completed in 2015 and designed specifically for grain storage operations. According to the client’s requirements, the facility was constructed with dimensions of 18 m x 55 m, providing a total storage area of 990 m².

Prior to the start of construction, our team prepared all necessary documentation required for obtaining the building permit and urban planning approvals. Once the design phase was completed, construction works commenced and included the following stages:

  • Site excavation and foundation preparation
  • Reinforced concrete foundation construction
  • Erection of monolithic reinforced concrete walls
  • Manufacturing and installation of cold-formed galvanized steel arches
  • Installation of front access doors and ventilation grilles
  • Construction of a power-troweled concrete floor

The building was engineered to provide reliable and long-lasting grain storage conditions. Its self-supporting semi-round roof system is manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel with a zinc coating of 275 g/m² and a profile thickness of 1.2 mm. This advanced roofing solution offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and adverse weather conditions such as hail, frost, ice accumulation, and extreme temperature fluctuations.

Thanks to its durable construction and optimized design, the facility provides excellent protection for stored grain, helping to preserve product quality while reducing maintenance requirements over the long term.
