Semi-Round Steel Grain Storage Building

For over 50 years, Alfa-Nistru has been one of the leading producers of canned goods, fruit juices, and vegetable products in the Republic of Moldova.

In 2020, we successfully completed the construction of a semi-round steel grain storage building for the company. The facility was designed with dimensions of 18 m x 40 m, providing a total storage area of 720 m².

Prior to construction, our architects and engineering specialists developed a customized project based on the client’s operational requirements and storage needs. To ensure maximum accuracy and efficiency, the design process incorporated BIM technologies and advanced 3D modeling software. Once the planning stage was completed, construction works commenced.

The project was carried out through the following stages:

• Site excavation and preparation for foundation works
• Construction of the reinforced concrete foundation
• Erection of monolithic reinforced concrete walls
• Manufacturing and installation of a roof system made from cold-formed galvanized steel arches
• Installation of front access doors and ventilation grilles
• Construction of a power-troweled concrete floor
