Agricultural Produce Storage Facilities

In 2018, we collaborated with AVITON AGRO SRL on the construction of two agricultural produce storage facilities in Valea Perjei village, Taraclia District. The client required both storage buildings to have dimensions of 22 m x 70 m, resulting in a combined total area of 6,160 m².

As a full-service engineering and construction company, we managed the project from concept to completion. The initial phase involved developing a custom design that met the client’s operational requirements and storage objectives. Particular attention was given to creating an environment suitable for the safe preservation of agricultural products and grain harvests.

During the planning stage, our architects and structural engineers utilized BIM technology and advanced 3D design software to develop an efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solution. Every aspect of the project was carefully engineered to maximize functionality and long-term performance.

Following the approval of the design, construction works commenced and included the following stages:

• Site excavation and preparation for the foundation
• Reinforced concrete foundation construction
• Erection of monolithic reinforced concrete side walls
• Manufacturing and installation of a self-supporting roof system made from cold-formed galvanized steel arches
• Installation of front access doors and ventilation systems
• Construction of a power-troweled concrete floor

After the facilities were commissioned, the client successfully obtained agricultural subsidies, helping to accelerate the recovery of the investment.
